The Greater Good Foundation
The Greater Good Foundation is committed to ending the suffering, starvation and homelessness of dogs in Fiji.
We are Fiji’s only homeless animal shelter housing and caring for around 200 dogs. Based near Ba, in Fiji’s west, we have been caring for homeless dogs since 2014. Rescue dogs are grateful and loving companions. Contact us to adopt your new best friend.
We are a NO KILL shelter.
We accept abused, abandoned and injured animals that have nowhere else to go. We save dogs from death row at city pounds. We accept homeless pregnant mothers and mothers with young babies because their struggles on the street are unbearable to imagine and the cycle of suffering must be broken.
We run street dog feeding and neutering (desexing) programs which are vital to reduce the number of starving and unwanted dogs desperately scavenging on the streets.
We support community members facing hardship to care for their pets by providing food, medicines and cover the cost of veterinary care.
We take action in cases of animal cruelty and neglect and strive to educate and change attitudes towards animals in Fiji.
Together, let’s make the sight of animal suffering, starvation, and homelessness a thing of the past.
We receive no government funding and are totally dependent on the generosity of kind supporters like you. Without you, our life saving work would not be possible. Thank you.
